Great location for a comfortable stay at good price. Very helpful staff (except room service – which takes lot of time) and front desk – eager to help. Spectacular property, great views and fantastic rooms – you can opt for new trendy rooms or the heritage rooms. The dine-in area was awesome too and the cute little book-shelf on the first floor was what I simply loved.
The rooms in the new wing have great views and the joining sky-walk between the new and the old wing is a great place to catch Dalhousie down below. The location is excellent, being at the bus stand – but you never hear/feel the din because it is kind of 50 meters above the main road (you walk up to the hotel from the road). There are various taxis/buses available at the main road, as well as good convenience stores, and a Tibetan market just next door. There also is a connecting short-cut to the mall road – a 20 min climb.
2 thumbs up for the hotel! Only sore point was the room service. It takes time to arrive at your door. The pool table also needs new cues and a vacuum clean…
Room Tip: Ask for rooms on the new wing, if you are looking for good view.
