Across six days, explore the state of Rajasthan, discover the splendour of the Maharajas, unravelling a decadent world of enchanting colours, rich traditions, exquisite craftsmanship and fascinating histories.

Begin at the city of Jaipur – Rajasthan’s desert capital. The Pink city of Jaipur, charms with remnants of an ancient era complete with magnificient forts, intricate, extravagant palaces, and bustling city markets.

From the imposing Amer Fort to the luxurious City Palace, from the iconic Hawa Mahal to the most serene Jal Mahal , from old time shopping streets to hip cafes, Jaipur never fails to captivate.

Equally enchanting is the Blue city of Jodhpur  – the gateway to the sand dunes of the Thar. Dominated by one of the largest forts in Rajasthan – the Mehrangarh Fort, the medieval city is teeming with history. Explore the city, making time to stop by the older parts of the city, its markets chaotic, colourful and heady with a mix of spices in the air.

Our final stop, Jaisalmer is located in the heart of the Thar Desert,  quintessentially Rajasthani, it is most often the images of Jaisalmer that come to mind when we think of Rajasthan.

Bada Bagh is a garden of chattris (Cenotaphs are also known as chhatris and one cenotaph is erected for each ruler)of the royal family of Jaisalmer. Jait Singh II, commissioned a dam to create a water tank in the 16th century AD. This made the desert green in this area. After his death, in his honour, Bada Bagh was fully into a garden.
The garden stands at the foot of a hill and several chhatris or cenotaphs stand in memory of the late rulers of Jaisalmer.
