Tour Details

Buddhism is the fourth largest religion in the world, with having followers something about 7% of global population. India is a very fortunate country because the origin of this religion lies in it. Having its origin in India, Buddhism has always attracted tourists from all across the globe. Buddhist pilgrimage destinations are scattered in the Northern and Central part of India. The Buddhist pilgrimage tour is basically a journey towards the enlightenment which is now residing in different stupas and monasteries at some of the essential Buddhism affiliated locations. In the Mahaparinirvana sutra, the Buddha tells his followers that they can attain merit and a noble rebirth by going on pilgrimage to the places where he was born (Lumbini), gained enlightenment (Bodhgaya), first taught (Sarnath), and attained Nirvana (Kushinagar).
