The Kalalau Trail on the Hawaiian island of Kauai weaves through one of the world’s most famous natural wonders, the Na Pali coast. The trail traverses 5 valleys before ending at Kalalau Beach where it is blocked by sheer, fluted pali. The 12-mile trail is graded but almost never level as it crosses above towering sea cliffs and through lush valleys. The trail drops to sea level at the beaches of Hanakāpīʻai and Kalalau. The Kalalau Trail is one of the toughest, albeit most worthwhile hikes in the Aloha State.

After breakfast today, we will head on a tour of the Molokini Crater and Turtle Town to see Pacific marine life. Keep your eyes open for whales and dolphins as the tour boat does all the work in shuttling you between the Molokini Crater and Turtle Town. Once we are on dry land, we will head for lunch and then walk around the beach shops for indulging in some shopping. In the evening we will take our flight to Kauai.
