Itinerary

Day 1Arrive in Sorrento

Arrive in the Peninsular Sorrento- the commune overlooking the azure waters of the bay of Naples. After making yourself comfortable, you can stroll through the local markets of Sorrento. However retire early and rest well to embrace your vacation ahead.

Day 2Island of Capri

The stop is the popular resort- the island of Capri, an offshore destination from the sorrentine Peninsula. The Isle became the center of fascination in the 19th centur due the book “Entdeckung der blauen Grotte auf der Insel Capri” or Discovery of the Blue Grotto on the Isle of Capri, by the German painter and writer August Kopisch. The blue grotto has now become the trade mark of the Island. The mesmerizing radiance of sun’s rays give off a blue iridescent glow to the cave.

The blue grotto is not the only thing that attracts the tourists to the isle, the seafood preparations of the region is worth to die for- the Bruschetta al tonno or tomato topped tuna is one such dish.

Day 3Alamafi Winery

Adding further flavor to the Vacation, today you will visit the country’s celebrated Alamafi Coast known for Limoncello (the digestive drink made from the gigantic lemons, alcohol and sugar syrup). Trust us its really difficult to wash away the taste of the sweet and sour drink. Have a small picnic in the beautiful winery premises with some of the best cheese of your life.

Day 4Romance of Rome

After completing around 3 hours drive along the scenic Italian coast, arrive in Rome, the Grand capital of Republic of Italy.
Start your day with a wish in the Trevi Fountain designed by the celebrated architect Nicolas Salvi (This the largest Baroque Fountain in the country). Follow the food trail of the trevi district, Learn about Rome’s history and cuisine, and see landmarks including the Spanish Steps, Pompey Theatre, Marcus Aurelius Column and Piazza Navona while trying delicacies like silky prosciutto, gelato, pizza, cheeses, wines, and more.
After savoring all those delicious food take an afternoon siesta and rest well before you embark again on your journey in the evening. Campo Marzio and the Jewish Ghetto for tastings that range from fish and meat to pizza, pasta and desserts served alongside Italian wines. Take in the city’s historic sites as you go, with time to explore classic piazzas, ancient Roman sites, temples and a synagogue.

Day 5Florence (Free day)

Florence (1-2 hours via train from Rome) capital of Scenic Tuscany region is famous for Florence’s Duomo (Santa Maria del Fiore). Get smitten to the enchanting city as you visit Galleria dell’ Academia- grab the opportunity to acquaint with the art of Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Botticelli. Following a few min walk view the colorful Markets of Mercato di San Lorenzo.

Day 6Florence- Pisa- Sienna

Experience the glory of Tuscany proffered on this day trip to Pisa, Siena, and San Gimignano from Florence. Explore the main square and Gothic cathedral in Siena, followed by a traditional, 3-course lunch with wine.
Afterward, enjoy free time to stroll the medieval streets of San Gimignano independently, as well as the city of Pisa, famous for its UNESCO-listed Leaning Tower.
The trinity of Florence-Pisa and Sienna is known for its renaissance art, architecture and Tuscan wines. Popular all over the globe the best-known drink of the region is without a doubt Chianti, Produced in the Chianti region between Florence and Siena (There are also many restrictions in place to ensure the quality of the real Chianti).

Day 7Bologna and Emilia-Romagna

Bologna is the lively, historic capital of the Emilia-Romagna region, in northern Italy. Its Piazza Maggiore is a sprawling plaza lined with arched colonnades, cafes and medieval and Renaissance structures such as City Hall, the Fountain of Neptune and the Basilica di San Petronio. Among the city’s many medieval towers are the Two Towers, leaning Asinelli and Garisenda.
Gastronomic customs are highlighted by markets selling tortellini, mortadella and cheese, and other shopping options range from designer boutiques to the medieval Quadrilatero market district.
Ragù alla Bolognese is a meat sauce in the typical Bolognese style, prepared with a carrots, onion, celery, beef and pork in a tomato sauce served only tagliatelle is the most famed dish that is simply a must try!

Day 8Metropolis of Milan

The fashion capital of the World- Milan (1hr 30 min away from Bologna via Train) is truly a Shopping district of Italy. But style is not only found in shops, the unique essence of Italy is captured in the High end modern as well as medieval art. A day is all you need to fall in love with it.
Start with Brera and Braidense national Library to see the local colours, and then move on to La Scala Opera and museum. Spend the evening in Porta Nuova District (an up and rising distict known for charming cafes and modern art hub) and City Life area for some shopping.

Day 9Venice- Queen of Adriatic

No trip of Venice is complete without a ride on the celebrated Gondolas. Traverse through the city and under the lovely bridges to quaint fishing islands of Burano, Murano and Torcello.
