Owing to short travel distances and an assortment of activities (far away from its umpteen beaches), Goa is a great option for a family friendly vacation.
These four days simmer down to the Goan pace of life, ride a boogie board, watch for dolphins, simply splash around and catch a spectacular sunset at the beach. Explore forts offering mesmerizing views of the palm fringed coast, take in the colonial influence while strolling along the cobble stoned streets of Old Goa and Panjim, ride the backwaters of the River Mandovi , and dig in to some delectable local cusine.

On arrival at Dabolim Airport, our local representative will take you to your hotel.
Post lunch head out towards Chapora Fort for an afternoon hike. Offering the most scenic of views, Chapora Fort overlooks the Chapora River and the Arabian Sea. Enjoy the beautiful sunset before heading back to Candolim.
The rest of the day is spent at leisure.

After an early breakfast, leave to Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary.
Located on the western tip of the Island of Chorao along the river Mandovi, accessed by a ferry ride, the sanctuary is home to mudskippers, fiddler crabs, the striated heron, the little bittern, red knot, jack snipe among others.
(Alternatively, stop by at the Bondla wildlife sanctuary)
Listed next is a tour of Old Goa and Panjim – a unique combination of traditional Portuguese and local architecture, visit the gothic styled Bom Jesus, which also houses an art gallery.walk to the nearby Se Cathedral, also known as the Se Cathedral of Santa Catarina.
At Panjim, Discover the area’s Portuguese influences as you walk with your guide down narrow streets and past old, colourful villas. Visit the Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, beautiful and pearly white, a port of call during the days of old Goa.
Make a pit stop at the Goa State Museum, to see a collection of artefacts which narrates Goa’s rich history, the most interesting exhibit which dates back to the Portuguese Inquisition in Goa.
Head back to Candolim.

Set out early morning for a spot of Dolphin watching, along the coasts of Candolim/ Calangute, while also catching glimpses of the country crafts, the fishing trawlers or the barges as they ferry iron ore to ocean-going vessels.
Head back to the hotel for breakfast, before heading out to Candolim beach for a morning in the sun. Stop to enjoy the spectacular views from Aguada Fort complete with a lighthouse.
In the evening, head to Dona Paula to visit the Goa Science Center and Planetarium. Marvel at the cosmos as you enjoy the 3D show of stimulated space condition. Spend the evening in the Science Park – a vast four-acre space with interactive displays and installations.
Head back to Candolim for the night.
