Oktoberfest is a long tradition of over 200 years, asserted with energy, reflecting the authentic culture of the Germans. It is not only celebrated in Munich, Germany but also various parts of the world, replicating the real festival, that attracts about seven hundred thousand tourists for the feast.
Discovered in 12th October, 1810, on the occasion of King Ludwig’s marriage to Princess Theresa of Saxony (the field is named after her), all the citizens of Munich were invited hence that extravagant royal event led to an annual fest thereafter.
The Agricultural Show was introduced during 1811 is still held every three years as per the occasion on the southern part of the festival grounds, designed to boost Bavarian agriculture. The horse races gave rise to the Oktoberfest, which were the most popular event of the festival back then, but is no longer alluring to the crowd.
Various other activities were induced during the years and in 1896 beer stands were replaced by the first beer tents along with amazing halls set up by innovative landowners with extensive breweries. Enjoy the exquisite cuisine and beautiful sightseeing destinations along with the extravagant fest!

Visit the popular Marienplatz, a medieval public square known for holding various markets, executions, tournaments, and public events. Check out the new town hall, Neues Rathaus established in the 19th century with ts intricate Gothic carvings.
Take an optional tour to Frauenkirche, the oldest cathedral in Munich formed during the 13th century followed by Glyptothek museum, the oldest public museum in Munich and the only museum to dedicate exclusively into ancient sculptures in the world.

After breakfast, our morning drive takes us to one of the oldest museums in the world, Alte Pinakothek covers the artifacts and structures mainly from 13th to 18th century followed by Neue Pinakothek, holding over 400 artworks from the 18th and 19th century.
Stroll around the the huge English Park, one of the largest urban parks in the world, even bigger than New York’s Central Park with an area of 900 acres.
Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
