At a distance of 4 km from here, Jogni Falls is a beautiful waterfall formed by a stream which merges with Beas River, downstream. The water sits at the edge of the village of Vashist and marks its boundaries. At the base of the waterfall which cascades from 150 feet, is a pool and a temple which is considered to be very sacred by the locals of the surrounding villages. Take a dip in the pool or just enjoy the tranquillity of the cascading swimming pool.
The waterfalls can also be reached by a 1-hour trek which will take you through apple orchards, tall pine trees and small water streams. This short trek is said to be the best short treks near Manali, offering you glimpses of the local beauty and the ways of the local life.
