2 Hours Before Flight Time
Leh Ladakh is blessed with picturesque vistas and sweeping scenic beauty. Enclosed in between the Himalayan and Karakoram mountain ranges, the Ladakh region is a highland that is layered in spectral of red, orange, brown, green, and grey with large crystal blue water bodies.
This group package from Leh offers you a chance to explore these wonderful places, amid the mighty Himalayas. This is a well-planned tour of 7 days that is going to take you to wonderful places and attractions such as Leh, Nubra Valley, Pangong, Nubra valley and Khardungla . It is a road journey across high-altitude passes and some of the highlights include double-humped camel ride in Nubra sand dunes, camping by the Pangong Lake, and visit to popular monasteries of Ladakh including Thiksey.
Preparation would mean your readiness for low oxygen levels at high altitudes, cold weather and difficult road terrains. However, do remember that certain amount of risk and discomfort is at times necessary to comes across this kind of beauty.
Leh by flight, you will meet our representative at airport and transfer to Hotel, traditional welcome at the hotel with Khataks and welcome tea and coffee. Full day rest to get acclimatized to the high altitude of 3524 Meters (11,500 ft).Later in the evening visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Bazar for orientation. Full day sightseeing tour of Shey Palace, Sindhu Ghat, T hikseyand Hemis Monastery, (museum & royal residence). Hemis is situated 45 Km west of Ladakh, Hemis Monastery is one of the most wealthiest and largest monastery of ladakh later drive back from the same route to visit Thiksay Monastery which is famous for its gigantic statue of Materaya lastly we visit SheyPalace the summer hub of Namgyal Dynasty kings .
Post Lunch
Nature Tour( Sangam, Magnetic Hill, Gurduwara PatharSahaib)
After breakfast drive towards east of ladakh on Srinagar- Leh Highway (NH1) to visit Sangam which is the confluence of 02 Rivers Indus River and Zanskar River than on the way back visit Magnetic Hill ( the hill that defies the gravity) and later to 12th Century Gurduwara Pather Sahib. Evening free to explore the market. Dinner and overnight at hotel. (Breakfast & Lunch)
After early breakfast drive for Nubra Valley at early as possible, which is 135 km from Leh enroute through the world highest accessible road Khardong La(18,379 ft). Reach Diskit(headquarter of Nubra valley) by noon and check in at the hotel/camp and have Hot lunch. Evening visit Diskit Monastery, and Sand dunes in Hunder Village 7km from Diskit and take a ride of Double Humped bacterian Camels. Dinner and overnight at hotel/camp. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
After breakfast visit Summur Monastery . Later drive back to Leh from the same route crossing Khardong La Pass reach back by the afternoon, check in at hotel and have hot lunch in hotel. Evening free for leisure and explore the local MARKET. Dinner and overnight at Hotel. (Breakfast and Dinner)
After early breakfast drive for Pangong Lake which is 149Km from Leh enroute visiting Thiksay Monastery before proceed to Changla Pass which is third highest mountain motrable pass in the world. The Lake is situated at the height of 4350 meters (14270 ft) in the Changthang region of Leh district. The lake is hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. The Saline water Lake is at the height of 4,350 m (14,270 ft) and has a brilliant color variation including deep blue and turquoise. Dinner and overnight at hotel/ camp. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Leave Pangong after breakfast and drive back towards Leh from the same route. At the Karu road junction, drive across the Indus and take the road to Hemis, visit the famous 17th century Hemis Monastery which is one of the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh. From same junction of kharu drive back to Leh. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (Breakfast and Dinner)
After early breakfast transfer to Kushok Bakula Leh airport for the return flight. Tour concludes.
