 Jaipur, the Pink City, popular for its classical forts and extravagant places, is the largest city and capital of Rajasthan. Strolling around this fascinating city, you’ll find yourself surrounded by magnificent architecture made of pink-painted sandstone and unique customs, traditions, lifestyle, music, and art.

Explore the extraordinary fortresses such as Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort, Jal Mahal and many more architectural masterpeices illustrative of the of Mughal and Rajput partronage towards the arts and sciences, including the UNESCO World Heritage site of Jantar Mantar, the largest of all five observatories of its kind.

Stop by the Desert city of Jodhpur, set on the edge of Thar Desert, once the capital of the Marwar state, the grandeur of the estwhile capital still resonates from oppulent palaces, imposing forts and the local narratives which tell tales of antiquity in the barreness of the desert.

Allowing you to explore the masterpieces that are Mehrangarh Fort and the Umaid Bhawan Palace museum, this journey takes you back in time giving you glimpses of the days of royalty.

Aptly named the ‘City of Lakes’, Udaipur, is home to several picturesque lakes and indubitable beautiful scenic temples such as the Mahakaleshwar, the Bohra Ganesh, that are the most sought sites of sanctity for the people. Large forts and palaces such as City Palace, Lake Palace, and Shiv Niwas Palace are extraordinary contributions to the city bringing about the rich legacy of this city. Colourful festivals and fairs such as the Mewar Festival and the Shilpgram Fair highlight the cultural prosperity of the community and society in Udaipur.

Mingle with amiable locals and tribes who are usually seen wearing flamboyant outfits and unique silver ornate jewelleries jewellery and are also known for their famous dances like Ghoomar and Chari where they dance on a pot with a diya (baked clay lamp) on their heads. Relish the Rajasthani folk music with traditional instruments like Sarangi, ektara, etc (string instruments) being sung and played by the local musicians, creating a harmonious experience. Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at Jaipur

On arrival at Jaipur, you will be met at the airport and escorted to your accommodation. In the evening, visit Chokhidhani – an ethnic village where you can enjoy traditional activities like Rajasthani folk dances, puppet shows, magic shows and so on, followed by a traditional Rajasthani Dinner.

Head back tour accommodation for the night.

Day 2Jaipur sightseeing

After Breakfast, visit Amber Fort – the 16th-century hilltop and palace. Also, enjoy a ride on the back of an elephant from the foothills up to the Gates of the Fortress.

In the afternoon, indulge in a sightseeing tour of Jaipur including the Maharaja Museum – a museum situated within the opulent 18th century City Palace, the Jantar Mantar – an equinoctal sundial situated in an 18th-century heritage park and the Hawa Mahal – the ‘Palace of the Winds’ built by pink/red sandstone.

Head back to the accommodation for the night.

Day 3Jaipur - Ajmer - Jodhpur

After Breakfast set out on a 3 hour drive to the serene city of Ajmer, stopping by at the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, a Sufi shrine for the Saint Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty Ajmeri built during 1332 AD; explore the Adhai Din Ka Jhopra, an ancient Sanskrit college turned into a mosque during 1192 CE followed by the Jagat Pita Shri Brahma Temple in Pushkar, one of the few temples of Lord Brahma in the world and visit along the ghats of the sanctified Pushkar Lake.

Continue your journey to Jodhpur, the sun city. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Rest of the time is to be spent at leisure.

Day 4Jodhpur sightseeing

After breakfast, visit the famous Mehrangarh Fort – which still bears the imprints of the cannonball attacks by the armies of Jaipur on its second gate. Imposing but ornamental, the fort is known for its exquisite latticed windows, carved panels and the walls of Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal and Sheesh Mahal.

Next, visit the Jaswant Thada – a milky white memorial built for the leader Jaswant Singh and conclude the day with a visit to Mahamandir temple – a sanctuary spot where tranquillity reigns supreme.

Head back tour accommodation for the night.

Day 5Jodhpur - Jaisalmer

After breakfast, set out for Jaisalmer (4 hours 21 minutes), the desert city, and discover the beautiful architecture of Patwon Ki Haveli, Nathmal Ki Havli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli, each depicting the intense work of carvings, paintings and refined ancient architecture.
Check into your hotel and take some rest. The evening you can spend at your leisure.

Day 6Jaisalmer Sightseeing

After breakfast today start your day’s tour by visiting the Jaisalmer Fort, famously known as the Golden Fort of Rajasthan. After spending an hour or so over here, next visit the Gadisar Lake. You will find holy Shrines and Chattris around the banks of this lake. You can enjoy a boat ride here.
After lunch visit the Bada Bagh, which means a ‘huge garden’. A 16th century garden, which served as a memorial where the nobles and their families were cremated. From here we go to visit the Salim Singh Ki Haveli and witness the amazing architecture.

Day 7Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

Get up early today and visit the Jain Temples, which is a series of temples dedicated to Jain Tirthankaras and can be traced back to the 12th century. Return to your hotel and have breakfast. Then leave for Jodhpur.
On your way to Jodhpur visit the Kuldhara, which is an abandoned ghost town and get spooked by its tales.
After reaching Jodhpur check into your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 8Jodhpur - Udaipur

After breakfast today visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace. Named one of the largest residences in the world, the palace boasts of Indian and European style of architecture. From here next visit the Mandore Gardens.

After lunch leave for Udaipur (4 hours and 36 minutes)

When you reach Udaipur, check into your hotel and take some rest.

Day 9Udaipur Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the streets of Udaipur with visits arranged to the Jagdish Temple – an iconic temple with intricate carvings, the City Palace – a lakeside complex built over 200 years ago, the Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum – a cultural heritage reflecting Rajasthani folk art, and the Lake Pichola – an artificial lake with island palaces.

Head back to your accommodation for the night.

Day 10Udaipur sightseeing

After breakfast visit the Lake Palace, which is an architectural marvel. Built in 1746 by Maharana Jagat Singh II, the palace is situated on the island of Jag Niwas in Lake Pichola. After spending some time admiring the architecture over here, visit the Lake Garden Palace next. The palace has long history and is considered one of the symbols of friendship between the Mughals and Rajputs.
After lunch visit the Bagore Ki Haveli. An 18th century construction, the Haveli was converted into a museum which presents the culture of Mewar. Then visit the Saheliyon Ki Bari, which is a beautiful sight to behold.
Return to your hotel for the night.
