Dochu La is mostly a transit point for everyone traveling and never an end destination. Hence, most of us cross this point when the chances of cloudless, clear skies are practically nil…and this is what kills the attraction of this place. When you do get clear skies, you get some awesome views of the Himalayas and some snow around. When you don’t, you don’t…so don’t curse yourself and just carry on for your destination…no point in stopping and waiting.
The cafe there though is beautiful and is a must visit, for a coffee and sit and slow down on time.
